Thr 4 Pillars Strategy To Become A Great Commission Church
Tell Your Story
Tell Your Story is the personal evangelism pillar in the LIFE strategy. This will help your members LOOK for daily opportunities to tell others about Jesus by sharing the story of their encounter with Him. This provides individuals an opportunity to create a three-minute audio recording of their stories using their cell phone. Each story is given a unique web address that allows the storyteller to share his or her story in a variety of ways. To date, thousands of people from all 50 states and many countries have listened to stories of believers who have encountered Jesus and hundreds of people have indicated a salvation decision for Christ!
Tell Your Story is opening the way for “ordinary” believers to have a global impact for the cause of Christ and His Gospel. For more information about Tell Your Story or to record your story go to www.tellyourstory.today.
The second pillar in the LIFE strategy is an evangelistic tool called LIFE project, a church-wide evangelism strategy designed to help your church IDENTIFY and reach the communities within your community with the Gospel of Jesus. Every community has affinity groups. These are people who gather around a common interest, hobby, concern, need, work or neighborhood. Discovering the affinity groups in your community and then
developing a plan to reach them is crucial to fulfilling the Great Commission in our day.
Another pillar in the LIFE strategy is Church Planting. Let us help you FOCUS on unreached people and affinity groups in your community and then provide you with the training, resources and encouragement you need to lead your church to develop a church planting culture among your people. J.D. Grear writes, “…in the right culture, church planting comes as naturally to the church as apples do to an apple tree.” With the right preparation and training, any church can plant a new church or start a multi-site campus. Let us help you learn how your church can be the catalyst for a new work.
The Twelve 24 Initiative is all about mobilizing your church and a new generation of young believers to ENGAGE people with the Gospel in the 12 to 24 age range on every middle school, high school and college campus. Twelve 24 includes nine regional teams led by one of our Baptist campus missionaries. Twelve 24 teams are made up of pastors, church staff and lay leaders. Teams meet together a few times a year to develop regional strategies that churches can use to reach the campuses in their communities. Could your church use help reaching students in your community?
Ask us about the possibility of your church securing a self-funded campus ministry intern. CMIs are young adults who partner with your church to help you reach students in the twelve 24 window.
